GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Community members gathered Saturday afternoon at the North Central Florida Community Center, for Fade Fitness’ second annual ‘Fade Fest,’ a free event aimed at helping residents take control of their health.
The event featured live nutrition and meal-prep guidance through ‘Fade Fuel‘, along with bloodwork and health optimization services, body composition scans, and flexibility and mobility assessments.
CEO of ‘Fade Fitness’, Cameron Hogan, shared he created ‘Fade Fest’ to connect the community directly with health professionals who can help provide a clear path to healthier living.
“This isn’t just a gym promotion. We’re bringing together every avenue of health and fitness under one roof,” said Hogan. “If someone in this community has ever wanted to get healthier but didn’t know where to start, this event gives them the answer.”
Hogan said he started ‘Fade Fitness‘ two years ago out of a desire to become more involved in the Gainesville community and make health resources more accessible.
“People today are surrounded by more health information than ever but not enough wisdom behind it,” Hogan said. “Fade Fest is our way of cutting through the noise and showing the Gainesville community what it really looks like to take their health seriously, with real professionals and real results.”
Hogan said the company’s slogan — “Fade the past to fit your future” — reflects the idea that people can move beyond what has held them back and focus on improvement.
“Whatever you had in the past, that’s in the past,” he said. “Let’s make sure we fit your future. You can always better yourself, no matter what, no matter where you start.”
During the event, Hogan revealed ‘Fade Fuel’ is now partnering with local Gainesville pop-up, ‘Mel’s Kitchen’ to provide members with new savory options in their monthly meal plans.
Hogan shared he now hopes to grow his business even further, and the next step is to open another ‘Fade Fitness’ gym in Jacksonville.
