PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) – For the fifth year in a row, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Sigma Xi Lambda Chapter will celebrate Juneteen with the Alpha Cares Community Health and Wellness Fair.
The fair will take place on Friday, June 19 at Washington Street Baptist Church at 721 Washington Street in Paducah. The health fair will start at 11:00 a.m. and wrap up at 1:00 p.m.
The fair is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
Featured free screenings and education include:
- School and sports physicals
- Eye exams
- Hearing checks
- Blood pressure checks
- Diabetes and cholesterol checks
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) screenings
- Substance use and harm reduction resources
- Cancer genetics and education
- Mental health resources
A free lunch from Big Ed’s will be available to attendees while supplies last.
